Let Egelston Energy give you a no cost, no obligations, evaluation of your current heating system. Often times, if your heating system is over 10 years old or more, the entire expense of a new system can be recovered inside of a few years. This adds value to your home and helps you to do your part in conserving our natural resources.
Why Propane?
Propane is a clean, highly efficient versatile fuel. It is "green energy" that also provides great value to its users.
Green Energy
When burned, propane emits less than half the greenhouse gas emissions as an equivalent amount of electricity produced by coal-fired power plants. Propane emits less greenhouse gas emissions than gasoline, diesel, and electricity in many applications.
Nearly 97% of U.S. Propane is produced in North America, reducing our foreign oil dependence.
Efficient Fuel
Propane furnaces offer 15 to 20-year life-spans, an average of 5 to 10 years longer than electric heat pumps. Propane furnaces can be vented vertically or horizontally, eliminating the need for chimneys, and new models are smaller for more placement options. Propane tankless water heaters can cost up to 60 percent less to operate than electric models.
Versatile Fuel
Propane can be used in almost all functions of your home.
Propane Pricing and Payment
What is the cost of Propane?
The price per gallon is dependent on the amount of propane used. For example: the customer using propane for cooking only will use about 50 gallons annually. The customer using propane for total heating may be using upwards of 700 gallons annually. As the annual usage increases, the price per gallon decreases. How are you using propane, and what appliances are in operation at your house or business?
How will I know how much to pay? I work all day and I won't be home to greet the driver.
Easy. You don't need to be at home. The delivery person will leave you a copy of your propane ticket. You will see the number of gallons delivered, the price per gallon, and the "cash" discount if paid within 10 days.

Propane Safety Tips
If your propane tanks runs out of gas, any pilot lights on your appliances will go out. This can be extremely dangerous.
A leak check is required. Contact Us! - a qualified service technician must perform a leak check on your propane system before turning on the gas.
Lighting Pilot Lights
If a pilot light repeatedly goes out or is very difficult to light, there may be a safety problem. Do Not try to fix the problem yourself. It is strongly recommended that only a Qualified Service Technician light any pilot light that has gone out.
Flammable vapors are a safety hazard. The pilot light on your propane appliance can ignite vapors from gasoline, paint thinners and other flammable liquids. Be sure to store and use flammable liquids outdoors or in an area of the building containing no propane appliances.
Don't Risk It! If you cannot operate any part of your propane system, or if you think an appliance or other device is not working properly, call your propane retailer or qualified service technician for assistance.
